Guiding riders. Honouring horses
My Story
Horses have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. In 2014, I founded TJO Equestrian Training Yard in Boschkop, Pretoria, with one clear goal: to create a space where horses and riders can thrive together in an environment built on care, precision, and trust.

My journey has taken me beyond South Africa, giving me valuable international experience that broadened my perspective and deepened my approach to training. Competing actively myself, I understand the pressures and demands of the show arena, and I use that knowledge to guide my riders with empathy and clarity.

Along the way, I’ve been honoured to receive recognition as a dressage coach, but what I value most are the partnerships I’ve helped to build: riders who gain confidence, and horses who flourish under thoughtful, consistent training.

At TJO, my philosophy is simple: strive for excellence, but always put the horse first.
